Below, you can view samples of essays I completed during my time at Clemson. These two samples demonstrate my knowledge on Chinese history and literature.

HIST 3300: History of Modern Chinese

I wrote this essay about the Belt and Road Initiative.  Through this initiative, China strives to become the world leader in foreign affairs by forging relationships with countries for economic and diplomatic gain.

CHIN 4010: Pre-Modern Chinese Literature

I wrote this essay to argue how in Chinese literature authors often used two contrasting ideas or objects to enhance their argument, which was telling of the geography and culture of China.
